Remember when we used to just follow old logging roads without GPS?

I was dead set against getting a GPS unit for my ATV until I got turned around in a fog bank near Timmins three years ago and spent four hours finding the trailer, now I don't leave the yard without my Garmin mounted up.

Yeah getting turned around in fog is no joke. I had the same lesson near Timmins too.

Man I fought the GPS thing forever too lol. Thought I was too good for it until I got completely lost on a cutline that turned into a swamp at dusk. That was a long cold night of backtracking through mud. Now I keep my old Garmin in the glovebox as backup even when I'm using my phone. The old logging roads are fun but man getting stuck out there without a way home sucks the fun right out of it. At least with the GPS I can laugh about my dumb decisions instead of panicking lmao.
