Tried a cheap tire plug kit from Canadian Tire and it actually held for 6 months

Picked up one of those $15 kits last spring after getting a nail in my rear tire way out near Parry Sound. Figured it was a temporary fix until I got to a shop. Forgot about it for half a year. Finally got new tires in October and the plug was still holding air fine. Not saying I'd trust it for hard riding, but it worked way better than I expected for the price.

Bro you had the same luck as me? I swear those cheap plugs are hit or miss. I used a similar kit on my truck tire after a screw punctured it near Huntsville and it held through two winters and a summer before I finally replaced the tire. Even drove it on gravel roads and never had an issue. I checked the pressure every month just in case but it was rock solid the whole time. Must have gotten lucky with the rubber or something.
