That time a guy at the bar told me canned tuna and sour cream is a legit pasta sauce

I laughed at him, but he insisted his grandma made it during the '70s. Tried it last Tuesday with a can of tuna and a spoonful of sour cream over some elbow noodles, and honestly it wasn't bad for a 3-minute dinner. Anyone else got a weird canned food combo that actually works?

Ngl, that's a solid broke college move right there. Tuna and sour cream is one of those combos that sounds like a joke until you're actually hungry and it's all you've got. Honestly, I've done the same with canned sardines and a blob of yogurt when I was desperate, and it weirdly worked out. Tried tuna and sour cream once during a broke college phase when my fridge literally only had those two things and some stale crackers. Honestly it was way better than I expected, which says more about my cooking skills than anything else. Still not telling my nonno about this though, he'd probably disown me.
