Applied for 87 jobs in 3 months and got 2 callbacks
I spent like 4 months tweaking my resume for every single application through LinkedIn and Indeed. Thought I was doing everything right until a recruiter at a company in Austin told me my resume wasn't getting past their ATS system because I used the wrong font. Learned that I should have matched keywords from the job description word for word instead of rewording things. Has anyone else had their application ghosted by automated systems for dumb formatting reasons?

That Daniel guy might be onto something about Times New Roman. I've heard the same thing from a HR friend who says Calibri or Arial are safer bets because the system scans them cleaner.
