Can we talk about people who leave their resume as a PDF titled 'Resume (2)'?
I was helping my cousin look over applications for a receptionist job at a small law office in Portland. Out of 40 resumes, probably 25 had filenames like 'Resume_FINAL' or 'Copy of Resume' or just 'Resume'. One guy sent his as 'Document16.pdf'. I get that you are busy applying to stuff but if I am the hiring person sifting through files, I am probably going to remember the person who named it 'John Smith - Admin Resume' instead of the one who made me guess. It took me ten seconds to rename my own resume files when I was applying for roofing foreman gigs. Also white text or tiny font at the bottom of the page to sneak in keywords is a dead giveaway and it looks desperate. Has anyone else seen this mess when sorting through job applications?

I have a file on my desktop just called "stuff.doc" from 2016 that I'm genuinely scared to open. The Document16 naming feels like someone gave up on life half way through labeling things. Every time I see a file like that in a shared drive I immediately wonder what story is hiding behind a generic title. It's always something either deeply personal or extremely boring, never anything in between.
