I used to ignore LinkedIn DMs until one cold outreach actually got me a job interview
For years I thought all those InMail messages were just recruiters spamming everyone. Then last month a guy from a small marketing agency reached out saying he liked my portfolio. I almost deleted it but decided to reply out of boredom. Turned out he was the actual hiring manager, not a bot. I went through 3 rounds and got an offer 2 weeks ago. Has anyone else actually gotten a real job from ignoring LinkedIn for years?
