Just realized I was sabotaging my own cold calls for months
I used to hate cold calling for my pest control business. I'd get nervous and ramble about all the services we offer. Last year I finally sat down and recorded myself to see what was wrong. Turns out I was talking too fast and using too much industry jargon like "termite barriers" and "exclusion zones." So I switched to just asking one simple question: "How are things looking around your foundation lately?" That small change jumped my call back rate from maybe 1 in 20 to about 1 in 8 within two weeks. Anybody else found a tiny tweak that made a huge difference in their sales calls?

So you just needed to stop sounding like a robot. Groundbreaking.
