Just spent 4 hours fixing a typo in my resume that killed my callbacks

I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting any interviews after sending out 20 applications. Turns out I had "Manaer" instead of "Manager" in my job title for a role I held for 3 years at a shop in Tulsa. A buddy at a networking event finally spotted it and I felt like a total fool. Has anyone else had a silly little mistake tank their whole job search like that?

I once sent out 30 resumes with "Untied States" before my wife caught it.

Did you actually get any replies from those "Untied States" resumes, @skyler_white? I'm curious if employers ever called you out on it or just let it slide. That kind of mistake is brutal because it makes you look careless even when you're not. Bet your wife earned a nice dinner after that catch though.
