Quit my remote job after one bad sprint retro
I thought I could handle the isolation, but after a 2 hour Zoom call where my manager dodged every question about the roadmap, I just logged off and sent my notice. Found out later the whole team was looking too, so I'm not bitter. Anyone else bail on a gig because the meetings felt like a waste of your life?

Did you feel that weird mix of relief and panic right after you hit send? I totally get bailing on endless Zoom meetings that go nowhere, especially when the manager just talks in circles instead of giving you anything real. It takes guts to walk away from a paycheck like that, even when you know deep down it's the right call. And honestly, finding out the whole team was ready to jump ship too just proves your gut was spot on. Good for you for not sticking around to watch the ship sink, that kind of stress takes years off your life.
