I spent most of January blasting out 300 auto-applied resumes through one of those job bots and got exactly 2 callbacks, both for sales gigs I never wanted. So in February I switched to finding 20 listings I truly fit and writing a short note to each hiring manager on LinkedIn, and 6 of them emailed me back within a week. Did custom outreach work for you, or was it mostly luck with timing?
