Switching careers at 32 feels like I'm starting from zero again

I left my accounting job last month after 8 years to try software development. Did a 3 month coding bootcamp in Austin and finished it, but now I'm applying to jobs and getting ghosted left and right. I have one project on my GitHub, a weather app I built during week 10. Should I keep applying or go back and build more stuff first? Has anyone else made this jump and found a way to get past the rejection pile?

Read a study that bootcamp grads with 3 projects get way more callbacks.
