That $800 'career coach' from LinkedIn gave me a list of jobs I already knew

Last month I paid this woman named Dana out of Austin $800 for a 6 week program after her posts kept popping up in my feed. Three years into being a mail carrier I wanted out, so I figured a pro would help me translate my skills. Instead she sent me a list of customer service roles and told me to fix my resume, which took her two weeks. When I asked about actual networking or interview prep she suggested I volunteer at a nonprofit to get 'experience'. I canceled the last two sessions and got a partial refund of $300, but it messed with my head for a bit. Has anyone else gotten burned by these online coaches, or did I just pick a bad one?

Figure that $300 refund probably saved you more than the coach cost you in the first place... most of these folks just google the same stuff you could find yourself.
