That Wednesday I accidentally overpaid a vendor $2,300 and caught it during a random invoice review
I was staring at a spreadsheet from a supplier in Ohio and noticed the unit price was doubled from our contract, so I called them and they refunded it the same day, has anyone else found mistakes like that just by double-checking routine stuff?

Wait, did you actually catch it during a random review or did you just notice the price was wrong? Because "random invoice review" sounds like you were looking for something specific, which isn't exactly random at all. Double-checking routine stuff is how most of us find billing errors, so I'd say you were just being thorough rather than lucky.
