Thought resume gaps were a dealbreaker until a hiring manager in Cleveland proved me wrong
I had a 14 month gap on my resume from caring for my dad and figured every application was going straight in the trash. Last Tuesday a hiring manager named Dana at a logistics company in Cleveland called me and said the gap was actually why she picked my resume out of 200. Has anyone else gotten a job specifically because of something they thought would sink them?
