Used to write novels for my monthly reviews. Now I send three bullets.

My old boss wanted a full page report every month. Took me like 4 hours to write it. Fancy words, charts, the whole thing. Started my own pest control company last year and now I send three bullet points in Slack. My new guys actually read them. Has anyone else cut their reporting way down and seen better results?

My old boss needed those 4 hour reports to prove my team's value to his boss.

Yeah, the "prove my team's value" part always gets me... nobody ever asks where the boss's boss got the idea that value has to be proven through metrics in the first place.
