Vent: Bombed a client presentation because I used the wrong data

I was pitching to a firm in Austin last Tuesday and pulled Q3 numbers instead of Q4 - totally threw off their budget plan. My boss had to step in and smooth it over, now I triple-check every slide before showing anyone. Any tips for catching these mistakes before they blow up?

Has everyone else noticed how our brains just seem to glaze over the most obvious stuff when we're under pressure? It's like tunnel vision kicks in and we can't see the forest for the trees until someone else points it out.
