Had a weird moment with a miter saw on a job in Tempe

I was cutting some 2x4s for a deck frame and the saw started making a high-pitched whine, then just stopped dead with the blade halfway through a piece. I checked the plug and the breaker, but it turned out a tiny wood chip had jammed the motor's cooling vent. What's the strangest thing that's ever locked up a tool for you?

Was that really the strangest thing you've seen?

Nah, that's not even close for me honestly. I once saw a guy at the grocery store trying to pay for milk with a handful of loose buttons, @julia_fisher28. It just makes you wonder what his day had been like before that moment.

Did you ever hear about that guy who tried to return a half-eaten sandwich to a restaurant because it "didn't taste like he remembered"? I read about it on a local Facebook group and it just stuck with me because it says so much about how we build up expectations in our heads. But I guess loose buttons for milk is pretty solid competition for weirdest payment method.
