Hit 10,000 linear feet of trim last week, here's what it taught me

I keep a log of every job since I started solo in 2019. Last week I finished a crown molding run in a McMansion out in Chesterfield and the number flipped to 10,040 feet. What surprised me is that my waste rate dropped from about 12% down to 4% without me trying to change anything. It's just repetition, knowing exactly where to cut and how to handle the corners. Has anyone else tracked their total footage and noticed a skills jump at a certain number?

Wait, doesn't crown have to be counted by the stick, not the foot?
