Hit 100,000 board feet of lumber cut last month and it hit me hard

I was cleaning up after a big commercial job in Raleigh and added up my cut records from the last 3 years. Turns out I've run exactly 102,400 board feet through my saws, which is enough to frame about 12 houses. Any of you guys actually track how much material you process in a year?

Watching that number stack up really puts things in perspective, doesn't it. Makes you realize how much we just blend into the background of everyday life, quietly building the stuff everyone else takes for granted.

Honestly, that "blend into the background" part hits hard. We're out here grinding every day and most people never even know we exist until something breaks. Then suddenly we're the most important people in the room.
