I used to swear by cordless nailers, now I grab my hose gun every time

Started framing decks in Austin back in 2018 and bought a top of the line cordless nailer, thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. But after 3 years of lugging batteries, dealing with cold weather slowdowns, and swapping spent packs mid-run, I borrowed a buddy's pneumatic on a big porch job last month. The weight difference alone, the thing just drives nails faster and never quits on me. I know cordless is the trendy pick and the freedom of no hose sounds nice, but for production work I'll take the compressor noise over a dead battery any day. Has anyone else gone back to air after making the switch, or am I the only one who thinks we overcorrected?
