Pocket screws beat my Domino on a Tacoma cabinet job

Just wrapped up a cabinet job in Tacoma where I had to decide between my Domino and old pocket screw jig. Customer wanted face frame cabinets that had to be dead flat, no room for error. Domino would have been cleaner looking but I was worried about alignment on a few tricky corners where the drywall was off by half an inch. Went with the Kreg jig and used a whole lot of clamping and shimming instead. Took me about four extra hours across two days but every joint pulled tight without any gaps. The finish carpenter who came behind me for the countertop actually said he couldnt find a single seam without running his hand over it. Has anyone else gone back to pocket screws on a job where the domino seemed like overkill?
