Switched to a track saw for sheet goods after fighting my circular saw for years

I always thought a track saw was just a fancy toy for people with more money than sense. But last month I had to break down 20 sheets of 3/4 plywood for a built-in in Austin and got sick of measuring, marking, and recutting every rip with my circular saw and a straight edge. A buddy let me borrow his Festool for one afternoon and I did in 3 hours what usually takes me a full day. The cut quality was so clean I skipped the table saw entirely for the final pieces. Anyone else make the switch and never look back, or is it just overkill for smaller jobs?

Man, I felt that line about measuring and recutting every rip. That was me for way too long until I borrowed a track saw and wondered why I'd been making things so hard. Once you see that clean cut straight off the saw, it's hard to go back.
