The day I compared hand nailing vs. my new Senco framing nailer on a shed job
I decided to build a 10x12 shed in my backyard over the summer, and for the first half I used my old hammer like I always have. Then my buddy let me borrow his Senco nailer for the second half, and man, what a difference. Hand nailing took me about 3 hours just to get the wall frames up, but with the nailer I finished the whole roof in under an hour. Has anyone else switched to a nailer and felt like they were cheating?

Started hand nailing a fence once and swore I heard my ancestors laughing at me from the workbench. Then I grabbed a nailer and suddenly felt like a modern day wizard who just discovered fire. Nothing like cutting your build time by two thirds to make you question every dumb choice you made before.

Man I feel that. Switched to a coil nailer for a deck job last summer and it was like the clouds parted.
