Appreciation post: The Milwaukee M12 stapler for carpet tack strips

I grabbed one for a job in a tight attic space in Lansing last month, thinking it would just save my back from swinging a hammer. It actually laid the strips down so fast and flush that I finished the whole room in under two hours, which never happens. Anyone have a go-to tool that surprised them like that?

Ever try the M12 cut-off tool? I used it for some old plumbing in a crawlspace and it was way faster than a hacksaw.

Honestly I thought those cordless staplers were a gimmick for a long time. Then I had to do a whole basement floor with a million tack strips. My knees were killing me from hammering. Borrowed a buddy's M12 and it was a total game changer. The strips just sit flat, no more bent nails or split wood. I bought one the next week.
