Had to choose between a power stretcher rental or buying one for a big job in Phoenix

Got a contract for 15 apartments that all needed new carpet. The rental place wanted $75 a day for a power stretcher, but buying a new one was $450. I bought it, figuring I'd use it on future jobs too. It paid off because two of the units had super tight doorways where the hand stretcher just wouldn't cut it. Anyone have a go-to brand for power stretchers that holds up in the heat?

Yeah, those tight doorways are a killer. I bought a Roberts for a similar reason and it's been solid even in the summer.

My old tape measure warped so bad last July it looked like a banana.

Good call, Roberts tools really can take the heat.
