Ran into a problem with a power stretcher on a job in Austin last Tuesday

Was doing a 12x15 bedroom and the stretcher just wouldnt grab the carpet right. Kept slipping and leaving ripples. Took me 30 minutes of cussing before I noticed the teeth were worn down on one side. Had to drive 20 minutes to Home Depot for a replacement head. Cost me 45 bucks but killed my whole afternoon. Anyone else ever have a power stretcher fail mid job like that?

You couldn't believe it, right? I was the same way. What finally worked for me was just picking up the phone and calling customer service directly instead of messing with the online chat or email. I sat on hold for about 20 minutes, but the guy on the other end actually fixed it in five. Also, I took screenshots of everything before I called so I had all the info ready. Give that a shot if you haven't already.
