That $40 seam roller upgrade was a total game changer for me

I was using this beat up metal seam roller from my uncle for years, thought it was fine. Picked up a new one with a ball bearing wheel at a supply house off I-85 for 40 bucks and it rolls so smooth, no more fighting the wheel to stay flat. The old one was actually flattening the carpet fibers on the seam, which is why I kept getting visible lines on lighter Berbers. Anyone else notice a huge difference when you swap out worn tools, or am I just late to the party?
