That seam at the sliding door took me 6 hours to get right
I kept fighting a seam where the hallway meets the sliding door track. I figured 45 minutes, tops, but the backing kept curling on the transition. Had to redo it twice with new tack strip and a heavier roller before it laid flat. Anybody else have a simple seam turn into a whole afternoon?

Did you try warming up the tack strip before you laid it down? I hit that same curling issue once on a bathroom threshold and ended up setting a space heater on it for like 20 minutes, which totally saved the day. That stupid little seam ate my whole saturday too, so I feel your pain.
