Tried spray adhesive vs. double-sided tape for carpet seams on a big job in Cleveland

I'd always used spray adhesive for seams, but last month I had to do a 3,000 square foot office and ran out halfway through. Switched to a roll of double-sided carpet tape for the rest, and honestly the tape held way better on the concrete floor. No overspray mess, no waiting for it to tack up. Has anyone else found tape works better on commercial slabs?

Figured that out the hard way when my tape stuck better to my knee than the floor.

Concrete has to be perfectly clean or tape won't stick for long.
