Tried the spray glue trick on a tricky seam and nearly glued my fingers together
I figured a quick shot of adhesive would hold down this curved stair tread while I pressed it in, but I oversprayed and ended up stuck to the carpet for 5 solid minutes. Anyone else have a close call with overspray that made you rethink your whole approach?

Spray glue is actually the best thing that ever happened to tricky seams like that. You just need to practice better aim and keep a tube of hand cleaner nearby for mishaps. A little overspray is a small price to pay for a bond that holds tight and won't let go when you need it most.
