Tried using a power stretcher on concrete stairs and learned why nobody does that
After I mangled the rubber pad on the third step last Wednesday, my foreman told me you have to use a knee kicker there instead, anyone else find that out the hard way?

Man, I felt that "learned why nobody does that" in my soul. I tried the exact same thing last year on a set of basement stairs and the pad basically melted into a rubbery mess by the second step. My foreman just shook his head and handed me the knee kicker like I was a rookie fresh out of high school. It's one of those lessons you only gotta learn once, but man does it sting while you're scraping melted rubber off the concrete.
