Vent: Saw a huge difference in a carpet job after 3 years of the same padding
I went back to a house I did in 2021 to fix a seam and the carpet looked way worse than the install I did last month on the exact same carpet with a higher density padding. The old padding was flat as a pancake in all the high traffic spots, and the carpet was wrinkling up bad because of it. Has anyone else noticed cheaper padding ruining a good carpet job over time?
