Paid $65 for a 'rare' 1987 punk demo tape, got a blank with a sticker on it

Seller swore it was a one-off pressing with a handwritten J-card, but the tape hisses like a fresh Memorex and there's not a single note recorded on it. Anyone else get burned by 'trust me, it sounds killer' listings on the swap board?
