Pressed record on a mixtape for my buddy and my cat walked across the deck

Was in my basement. Had the perfect track list lined up. Got to the last song. Forty five seconds in. Then my orange tabby starts stomping across my Tascam. Knocked over a stack of blank Maxells. Tape got all tangled. I spent an hour untangling it with a pencil. Still plays but has a weird warble now. Anyone else have animals mess up a recording session?

Dude I just read about some producer whose parrot learned to mimic the kick drum and started squawking along during a take lol. That warp sound might actually be kinda cool though you could sample it. Sorry about the Maxells though those things aren't cheap anymore. My friend's dog once chewed up his wallet full of pogs so I get the frustration.
