Stick with original cases or switch to slim cases for storing tapes? Here's my take.

I had to decide between keeping all my tapes in their original chunky cases or swapping them into slim Norelco boxes to save shelf space. I went with the slim cases because my collection was overflowing a single shelf in my Denver apartment. But now I miss the original artwork and feel of the old cases. Anyone else stuck with their originals and regret it, or found a good middle ground?

Did you try storing the original cases elsewhere and just displaying your favorites?

Yeah storing them in a box in the garage just means they're 'curated' dust collectors now instead of clutter on the shelf.
