Am I the only one who had a buddy tell me they scrub their cast iron with dish soap every time and it still has a perfect season?
He said his grandma did it for 40 years and I just stood there holding my salt scrub like a fool, now I'm wondering if I've been overthinking this whole time.

Man I stood there looking at my chainmail scrubber like a fool too. Pretty sure my cast iron is currently out-seasoning me in life.

@danieltaylor I'd bet that cast iron has more seasoning than most people have sense.
