Hot take: chainmail scrubbers are worth the hype

I overheard a guy at the farmer's market say they ruin your seasoning, but after 3 months of using one on my lodge pan, the surface is the smoothest it's ever been. Anyone else find chainmail works better than salt scrubs?

Three months is about when my seasoning started flaking off with chainmail. Had to strip mine back to bare iron and start over. Salt scrub takes longer but I never had that problem with it.

@skylerg17 same thing happened to me, switching to salt scrub fixed it for good.
