That Lodge cast iron pan I have did the same thing. Honestly, you just gotta keep cooking on it.

My grandma taught me to strip and reseason a pan when the seasoning flakes off like that. Just cooking on it can leave carbon flakes in your food. I had to do it with my own Lodge last year after some rust spots showed up. It's a bit of work but it fixed the problem for good.

Grandma's method sounds like a weekend project. My method is just eating the carbon flakes for extra iron, it's basically a health supplement at this point. The pan will sort itself out around the time I need a new stove anyway.
