Spent $40 on a chainmail scrubber and it's the only thing that gets my pan clean without messing up the seasoning.

Got one of those a few months back and it was a total game changer. Just use it under hot water with a tiny bit of soap and really light pressure. The trick is to let the chainmail do the work, not your elbow grease. Totally saved my favorite pan from getting that gunked-up spot in the center.
