Totally been there, man... ended up scrubbing mine three times in one day because I couldn't make up my mind.

Pulled a full deep clean three weekends ago and accidentally stripped the seasoning off my cast iron in the process. Took me like four coats of oil and a couple of burned cornbread batches to get it back to non-stick. Actually considered just tossing it and buying a new one for a solid minute there.
