The bacon grease splash incident in my kitchen last Tuesday

I was trying to flip bacon in my skillet with wet tongs, big mistake. The grease shot straight up and hit my glasses, couldn't see for a solid minute. Anyone else have a cast iron moment that left them questioning their life choices?
