Went to a diner in Pittsburgh last week and their eggs stuck to a supposedly seasoned pan
The cook swore they'd had that skillet for years, but the scrambled eggs left a crust you could scrape off with a fork. Has anyone else been served sad stuck eggs from a place that should know better?

Yeah that's rough, seasoned doesn't mean nonstick forever.

Is it just a Pittsburgh thing or do diners everywhere sometimes drop the ball on eggs? My buddy Mike @the_vera actually went to a spot in Philly last month and had the same problem. He ordered over easy and the white part came off in one big sheet with a layer of black crust stuck to it. The waitress just shrugged and said their pans are "seasoned to perfection," but Mike said it tasted like burnt regret.
