Hit 50 cereal milks logged and the one that surprised me was a plain bran flake
I started keeping a little notebook of leftover milk ratings back in January, mostly to settle arguments with my brother about which cereal leaves the best milk. I figured I'd quit around 20, but here I am at 50 bowls written down and still going. The weird part is the one that surprised me most was a boring store brand bran flake, which I only grabbed because it was on sale for $2.49 at the grocery down the street. The milk came out nutty and a little toasty, not sweet at all, and I gave it an 8 out of 10 when I expected like a 4. My brother swore I was making it up, so I made him drink it cold the next morning and he went quiet. Back when I was a kid I just dumped the milk down the sink without thinking twice, and now I'm sitting there with a spoon writing notes like a scientist. Did anybody else get thrown off by a cereal they fully expected to be bad, or is it just me overthinking a bowl of milk?
