Showerthought: that $9 milk frother thing is pointless for cereal milk and I'm done pretending it helps
Everyone in here keeps hyping the cheap handheld frother to fix watery cereal milk and I just don't get it. I picked one up at Target in Springfield for $9.99 about two weeks ago, mostly because of posts here, and all it did was turn my leftover milk from Corn Chex into a warm foam that tasted weird and flat. The flavor didn't get any stronger and the sweetness was the same, it just added a bunch of bubbles I didn't ask for. I tried it on three different bowls and every time I ended up wishing I had just drank the milk plain like always. Maybe I'm using it wrong but I really think the best upgrade to the milk is the cereal itself, not a gadget. Does anyone actually like the foam thing, or am I right that it just makes a mess?
