Gas range vs induction after 4 months in a busy kitchen

We swapped our old gas line for an induction top back in February. I was one of those guys who said I would quit before cooking on a magnet. After 4 months of dinner service, I can tell you the induction is faster and way easier to keep clean. But the heat control is completely different. You cant just feel the flame. You have to trust the numbers. My sauté station had a bad week in March because I kept pulling pans off early. Now I set a timer for everything. Has anyone else made this switch and dealt with the learning curve? How long did it take you to stop second guessing yourself?

Trusting numbers over fire? That's wild.
