Honestly, how bad was the glance? Like, did you actually miss something major or was the guy just being picky? Sometimes people expect a whole show when a quick look tells you what you need to know.

Ouch, that's a tough comment to get from a customer. It's really hard to hear that kind of feedback even when you know it's probably true (which makes it worse, honestly). Taking it on the chin like that shows a lot of character, for what it's worth. Most people would just get defensive and ignore it.

Wait, they actually said that to your face? I had a customer leave a nasty note once but saying it out loud is next level. That takes some nerve. I'd be replaying that in my head for weeks. Props to you for not snapping back right then and there.
