Appreciation post: the elderly couple on Maple Street who still tip in cash

Had a job last Tuesday over in Maple Street, this little brick house with a wood stove that hadn't been swept in maybe 5 years. The wife came out with lemonade and asked if I wanted a sandwich too, then her husband handed me a crisp $40 on top of the invoice. Told me his dad was a sweep back in the 60s and always said to take care of the person who keeps your house warm. Anyone else get those regulars that just make the whole route feel worth it?

Got a retired couple on my route who always round up and bake cookies every Christmas.
