Customer told me my creosote logs were a waste of money

And honestly they kind of ARE a waste of money. I've burned them before and they just leave a weird chemical smell and don't really do anything for actual creosote buildup. Chimney sweeps have told me the same thing. You're better off just getting your flue cleaned the old fashioned way.

Yeah, that "chemical smell" part is what gets me. Nothing says cozy fireside vibes like your living room smelling like a burnt science project. Guess I'll stick with the old fashioned way and just pay the sweep, at least that only smells like soot.
