Tell me about it! I once had a brush get STUCK in a vent that looked spotless. It was a simple bathroom fan, and the brush just vanished into the pipe. I had to spend an hour fishing it out with a coat hanger. The thing looked perfectly clear, but there must have been a bend or something. Now I always tie a string to my brushes before I start. It's crazy how these things can trick you.

Ugh did you ever drop something behind a washer or dryer? My phone slid right down the tiny gap behind our washing machine and got wedged against the wall. Had to move the whole heavy thing, scratched the floor and everything. Makes you realize how many hidden traps our houses have built in.
