Serious question about soot weight per cubic foot
Was reading an old sweep manual from 1987 I found at a flea market in Boise and it said dry soot weighs something like 32 pounds per cubic foot. I always just guessed at load estimates based on feel. Now I'm wondering if I've been overestimating bag weights on my truck for years. Has anyone else actually measured their soot weight to compare?
